Is it possible to make and sell homemade skin care products?

Is it possible to sell homemade skin care and beauty products (for example, face wash) on eBay or a similar website as long as I list the ingredients? Can this be done some how? Any first hand advice? Thanks!

    The liability is huge mary kay did start up you need to start out that way but it was different time with much less cost to do lot of research because in some states.
    The liability is one lawsuit happy person.
